AgriMAXX 520

Soft Red Winter Wheat

NEW HEAVYWEIGHT™

  • Replacement/companion to AM 490
  • Ultra early maturity. 1 day after AM 490
  • Heavyweight! Superior test weight, +.5# VS AM 490
  • Great yields across Midwest for maturity class
  • Aggressive tillering variety
  • Responds to fungicides for enhanced leaf health
  • Palisade recommended

AgriMAXX 520 is a new variety for the ultra-early maturity class of varieties. AM 520 will head and be ready for harvest 1 day after our popular AM 490. AM 520 packs a punch with our special Heavyweight designation! Bringing more yield and heavier test weight into this ultra-early class, growers will improve their wheat and double crop soybean returns. We like this variety even more in management programs that use fungicides and Palisade. AM 520 has shown broad adaptation to many soil profiles with great reviews in lighter soils. Growers will like its huge grain heads and attractive appearance in the field.

AgriMAXX 511

Soft Red Winter Wheat

New

  • Impressive yields in the early maturity class
  • Joints late to lessen freeze risk
  • Very quick dry down in field for early harvest
  • Top notch head scab resistance
  • Low straw yield and easy double crop planting

AgriMAXX 511 is a new variety that has many attractive benefits for double crop farmers. For an early maturity, it really can yield. We’ve found AM 511 to work across a variety of soil profiles, but showcases best performance on average to better soils. It’s performed best in the Midwest and Midsouth geographies with impressive plot winning finishes. Additionally, we like how it has a later jointing date to lessen spring freeze risk. At physiological maturity, AM 511 has a rapid dry down for an early harvest. We’ve seen AM 511 test within 1% moisture difference of AM 490! Don’t like robust plant types? AM 511 is a moderate plant stature with finer straw, which lessens straw yield and helps growers improve their double crop soybean stands. In high fertility and high yield environments, we would encourage the use of Palisade for improved standability. Growers will also enjoy the excellent head scab resistance.
